In April 2025, the company announced the launch of <strong>Meta AI<\/strong>, an advanced digital assistant now available on <strong>Facebook<\/strong>, <strong>Instagram<\/strong>, <strong>WhatsApp<\/strong>, <strong>Messenger<\/strong>, as well as through a new, standalone mobile application.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What Is Meta AI?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Meta AI<\/strong> is a next-generation virtual assistant capable of conversing with users, answering questions, creating images, translating content, and even editing media in real time. It is powered by Meta\u2019s latest large language models, <strong>LLaMA 3<\/strong> and <strong>LLaMA 4<\/strong>, designed to offer intelligent, responsive interaction.<\/p>\n<p>On platforms like Facebook and Instagram, users can engage with Meta AI directly through search or chat features. The assistant can provide instant answers, suggestions, and creative content, including <strong>AI-generated images<\/strong> based on user prompts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>New App and Voice Interaction Capabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One of Meta AI\u2019s most innovative features is <strong>real-time voice interaction<\/strong>, allowing users to speak to the assistant using their device\u2019s microphone without interrupting app functionality. This feature enables users to generate quick summaries of long group chats with a single tap, making it easier to catch up on conversations.
